Milwaukee Repertory Theater announces 2025-26 season lineup
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Repertory Theater has unveiled its 2025-26 season, marking the inaugural season at the new Associated Bank Theater Center.
The season, which runs October through June, includes 12 productions across three theaters, alongside the 50th-anniversary of "A Christmas Carol" at the Pabst Theater.
The season opens Oct. 31 with "It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" in the Stackner Cabaret, running through Dec. 21. "Come From Away," a Tony Award-winning musical, debuts Nov. 4 in the Checota Powerhouse Theater and continues through Dec. 14.
The Ellen & Joe Checota Powerhouse Theater lineup starts in 2026 and includes "The Lehman Trilogy" in January, August Wilson’s "The Piano Lesson" in February, and the Agatha Christie Festival featuring “Mrs. Christie” in April and "And Then There Were None" in May.
The Herro-Franke Studio Theater features Ayad Akhtar’s “McNeal” in February and "Frida…A Self Portrait" in April. Stackner Cabaret highlights include "The Fisherman’s Daughter" in January, "Ain’t Misbehavin'" in March, and the world premiere of "George & Gracie: A Love Story" in May.
