Milwaukee Rescue Mission providing shelter 24 hours a day as temperatures drop dangerously low
Milwaukee Rescue Mission/Facebook MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- With the temperatures dropping dangerously low, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission (MRM) is issuing a reminder about that its central campus is open 24 hours a day for those needing a warm place to stay.
The shelter is located at 830 N. 19th Street.
People and families without shelter are encouraged to call (414) 344-2211 immediately.
MRM provides shelter for men, women and children including providing hot meals, warm clothing, blankets, toiletry items and other supplies. The MRM is also prepared to offer an overflow shelter as demand increases.
MRM is funded through donations from the community. To help keep people in need warm and safe this snowy season, the community is invited to donate warm winter coats, blankets, hygiene items or monetary gifts.
You can donate online here or visit their central campus to drop off any essential supplies.
