MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee VA hosted a Veterans Day observance ceremony on Friday, Nov. 8.
Today, in honor of those who have served with an emphasis on "legacy" and "loyalty."
The ceremony involved a performance from the American Legion Band.
"A veteran wants to hear that music. It doesn’t matter what branch you're in, it just fires you up! I just don’t know how to explain it," said Duane Honeycutt, regional office director with the Milwaukee VA.
It is just one event in what will be a weekend full of them for veterans. Of course, that included the annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, Nov. 9, stepping off at 11 a.m. in downtown Milwaukee.
