MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's City on a Hill is growing, and on Thursday, the people who work there celebrated its expansion.
City on a Hill is a nonprofit that provides health care services to those who need them and may not be able to afford them.
The expansion of the health and wellness center will allow City on a Hill to provide medical, dental and behavioral services to 2,000 Milwaukee County residents every year, many of whom are underinsured and can't get help elsewhere.
"And so what this clinic can be able to do is really help people navigate what kind of coverage do you have, what do you not have," said Art Serna Jr., CEO of City on a Hill. "We typically see a lot who have no insurance at all. And so we're a great safety net for those individuals to find a medical home."
The City on a Hill Health and Wellness Center is located at 22nd and Kilbourn.
CEO Art Serna encourages people to come and take one of their tours to see what they have to offer.
