MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Spirit Airlines will introduce new nonstop flights from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport to Baltimore, Los Angeles and Nashville beginning in May.

The airline announced Wednesday, March 6 that two weekly flights to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Nashville International Airport will begin Friday, May 9. Service to Los Angeles International Airport will resume with two weekly flights starting Thursday, May 8.

The airline stated in a press release that they hope for the new routes to provide additional options for summer travelers.
