Rain has been falling off and on for most of southeast Wisconsin for the last 24 hours. The area of heaviest rain fell Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning when most of southeast Wisconsin had a soaking half inch of rain. As of 7 AM Wednesday, rain totals for most of the area measured in the half to full inch range.Â
Most of Wednesday will see light and scattered rain showers, rain during the afternoon and evening looks a little more steady and widespread compared to the morning.Â
Any additional rain we see Wednesday and even some of the rain with the mix of Thursday could amount to an additional quarter to half inch with some spots getting as much as 0.75".Â
We could also see a little snow mix in with the rain on Thursday. Still expect pretty light precipitation and fairly scattered. Any snow that does fall will only accumulate on grassy surfaces with a dusting to a few slushy tenths possible.Â
Friday afternoon and evening also has a chance for a little light rain/snow mix. Once again, little to no snow accumulation is expected.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the rain and any snow that mixes in.
