WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A motorcycle crash on Interstate 94 westbound near Elmhurst Road in Waukesha County left one person dead, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The crash happened around 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 just outside Delafield. Investigators said the motorcycle was headed west when the driver lost control. The rider died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.

Responders included the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, Delafield police and fire departments, as well as the Lake County Fire Department.
