Mount Pleasant Police: Toddler recovering after falling from second story window

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Mount Pleasant Police and South Shore Rescue crews responded to the 1300 block of Oakes Road for a report of a toddler that had fallen from a second story window.

The initial investigation revealed that the 2-year-old boy had crawled on top of living room furniture, pushed the screen out, and fell through the open window.

The toddler was taken to a local hospital with what police believe is non-life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
