MPD: 2 injured following shooting in Midtown neighborhood

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a double shooting that happened in the Midtown neighborhood on Saturday, Sept. 11.

Police say it happened near 23rd and Walnut shortly after 11 p.m.

The victims include a 30-year-old Milwaukee man and 47-year-old Milwaukee man. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

One victim was located at the scene and the other was located a few blocks away, police say.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation. Police are seeking unknown suspects.
