6-year-old child dead following child abuse investigation

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A six-year-old is dead after police investigated a child abuse case in Milwaukee on Sunday, July 21.
MPD reports they began investigating a child abuse incident that took place near 103rd and Mill on Sunday. The child was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead. A 33-year-old was arrested in connection to the incident.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the child as Zane McAttee Adams of Milwaukee.
MPD says charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
