MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened on Saturday, Nov. 30. 

It happened near 24th and Locust around 6:19 p.m. 

Police say the victim, a 58-year-old, was battered. The victim succumbed to injuries and died at the scene. 

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Lester Day. 

The circumstances leading up to the incident are under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect.
