MPD investigating 2 separate, unrelated shootings involving teenagers

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two teenagers are recovering after being wounded in two separate, unrelated shootings Saturday afternoon, June 13.

The first shooting happened around 6:48 p.m. in the area N. 38th and W. Wright. A 16-year-old was shot and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Less than 10 minutes later around 6:56 p.m. an 18-year-old was shot and wounded in the area of N. 76th and Thurston. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

Both incidents are under investigation and police are seeking information to identify the suspects in the shootings.
