MPD investigating shooting near N. 39th St. and W. Lancaster Ave.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Monday morning.
Authorities were called to the scene near N. 39th St. and W. Lancaster Ave. around 4:25 a.m. A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was inside a car when an unknown suspect fired shots into the vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
MPD continues to investigate.
