MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) announced the launch of their redesigned website Monday, in an effort to provide easier access to services and community engagement.

MPD says the newly redesigned site includes resources, safety tips, upcoming events like the Milwaukee Police Athletic League and National Night Out, and recruitment information.

The new website also has an interactive district map with an overview of Milwaukee neighborhoods, according to MPD, including contact information and an organized chart for the department.

Educational information on topics like reporting missing persons, firearm protocols, bike and pedestrian safety, and more can be found on the new platform.

MPD says a donation from Phoenix Investors made the redesign possible.

“The new Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) website will allow our community members to be informed and view a modern design with greater accessibility,” said Chief Jeffrey Norman. “MPD values our partnership with Phoenix Investors and is grateful for their generous donation that funded the creation of this new website.”
