MPD: Man arrested after threatening victim with machete, barricading self in home

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a domestic violence incident that occurred Thursday, Aug. 1. 

Officials say just before 3:30 a.m., a 34-year-old man armed himself with a machete and threatened a 38-year-old victim at a home near 71st and Adler. 

Police say when the victim ran out of the residence, the suspect barricaded himself inside.

He was eventually taken into custody and charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
