MPD: 40-year-old woman found dead inside garbage cart near 39th and Brown

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman found dead inside of a garbage cart as 40-year-old Myeisha Moore.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 40-year-old woman was found dead inside a garbage cart in Milwaukee on Monday, Dec. 2.
The cart was in an alley behind Bethany Lutheran Church near North 38th and West Lloyd Street.
Police say the victim sustained fatal gunshot injuries and that the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
Neighbors say they are uneasy.
"Knowing that somebody literally either dumped it or dropped it off and kept on going, yeah that some close to home stuff right there," said neighbor Reynell Scales.
Reynell Scales has lived in the area for eight years and says a lot of garbage had been piling up in the alley before the discovery.
"As far as all the debris that was over there, you know that's been sitting over there for like about a week or so," said Scales.
Milwaukee police say this homicide is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner has revealed that the victim is a 40-year-old woman from Milwaukee, though they are not releasing her identity until notifying next of kin.
