MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public's help to find a critically missing 43-year-old man. 

Authorities say 43-year-old Lavell Gates was last seen around 10:30 a.m. in the 200 block of West Capitol Drive on Aug. 4. 

Police describe Gates as a Black male, standing 5'8" tall, weighing 250 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. 

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, and jean shorts.
