Search for MPS superintendent continues, board to interview 6 candidates this month

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There is an update on the timeline to hire the next superintendent of Milwaukee Public Schools after a special board meeting on Saturday, Jan. 11.
We learned the board will interview at least six candidates starting later this month. The finalists are expected to be announced on Jan. 31st. After that, a new round of interviews will take place.
MPS hopes to have a new superintendent in place by July 1st.
