MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Students at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) are trying their luck this St. Patrick's Day.
Engineering students took part in the annual egg drop contest. They only had 30 minutes to build a contraption out of cups, balloons, and other supplies.
The goal is to drop a raw egg out of a three-story window. If it breaks, you lose.
The winner receives $300, but there can be more than one winner.
"The goal is to be the only winning team. but we got a lot of smart people here," said Tramyqua Allen, junior at MSOE.
You may be wondering why the egg drop always takes place this time of year. It's because St. Patrick is the patron saint of engineers.
