RICHFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The 4th Annual National Ataxia Bowl for a Cure will take place Sunday, Sept. 28 at Pioneer Bowl in Richfield from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fundraiser supports research, patient programs and awareness for ataxia, a rare neurological disorder that affects coordination, speech and balance. Bowling is open to all ages and skill levels.
Mark and Leah Minkin, along with their dog Gordo, joined us on Thursday, Sept. 11 to preview the fundraiser. This year’s event will also include a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Pioneer Bowl is donating 10% of food sales to the National Ataxia Foundation.
Proceeds will help advance treatment research and provide resources to families living with ataxia.
