Nicolet High School swimmer involved in 2 vehicle collision in Ozaukee County

OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Nicolet High School student was in the car accident yesterday, Oct. 2. According to his family he will not survive.
Grant Freeze was in a crash yesterday along W. Pioneer Rd. at N. Klug Lane.
Grant was a star swimmer at Nicolet High School and Ozaukee Aquatics. He qualified for the World Tournament which is happening in just a few weeks and a National Championship this winter.
In a beautifully written and heartbreaking post on social media, his mother says when he got his driver's license, just seven weeks ago - he chose to be an organ and tissue donor.
She said in the social media post "we know that Grant's life is ending but his story isn't, and we will find a way to celebrate and continue Grant's legacy."
OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Yesterday, Oct. 1, Mequon police responded to a W. Pioneer Rd. at N. Klug Lane for a two-vehicle crash involving a SUV and a dump truck around 3 p.m.
According to law enforcement, the initial investigation shows the driver of the SUV, a 16-year-old male from Fox Point, crossed over the center line and struck a dump truck being driven by a 57-year-old man from Town of Cedarburg.
The 16-year-old was flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 57-year-old was transported by ambulance with severe injuries.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
