MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Employees at a pizza plant in the Menomonee Valley were tested for coronavirus.
The order came from the Milwaukee Health Department after at least two employees tested positive.
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett says the company cooperated with the health investigation.
"They got the message at roughly noon on Friday and by the start of the next business day, the team was on the ground, doing what it needed to do," he said. "This happened because of a great partnership with the health department, the county, the state, the National Guard, and an employer that recognizes the significance of having this done."
Mayor Barrett says it's important to test employees and identify positive cases as quickly as possible in order to contain an outbreak.
