A new restaurant brings a different taste, identity to Milwaukee's North Avenue Market

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A new restaurant at North Avenue Market brings a new taste and flavor to its location. Christopher's Southern Kitchen & Bar serves up plenty of country style cookin', including fried green tomatoes, collard greens, banana pudding and sweet potato pie.

Bittercube remains a big part of the market and will curate the cocktail menu for Christopher's.

The owner of the market, on the border of Milwaukee and East Tosa, says the new addition only reinforces the mission of providing an amazing space for folks to come together, experience fellowship and grow with food and drink as perfect backdrops.

North Avenue Market is open every day except Monday. Through this Sunday, June 9, there will be a special open house promoting the new restaurant and updated event center.
