South Milwaukee death investigation underway after 2 found dead in home from apparent gunshot wounds

CBS 58 SOUTH MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police is investigating the death of two people found in a South Milwaukee residence.
Police say that officers conducted a welfare check to a residence near 13th and Manistique Ave. Thursday afternoon, March 12.
Officers found a 22-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man in the residence dead. Both appeared to have died from a result of gunshot injuries.
A firearm was found at the scene.
The incident is believed to be isolated and is under investigation.
