MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Next Act Theatre is presenting "The Children," a play by Lucy Kirkwood that follows two retired nuclear scientists living in an isolated seaside cottage as the world around them deteriorates. Their routine is disrupted when an old friend arrives with a difficult request.
Marie Kohler, who directs the production, and Shariba Rivers, who plays the character Rose, joined us to chat about the play Wednesday, Feb. 26. The production explores themes of responsibility, guilt and the impact of past choices.
The play runs 1 hour and 45 minutes without intermission. Performances are scheduled through Sunday, March 9, including matinee and evening showings.
Tickets are available for performances at Next Act Theatre, and full information about showtimes can be found by clicking here.
