Man charged for driving wrong way on freeway past VP Harris motorcade sentenced to probation

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Last October, Wayne Wacker was arrested in Milwaukee for driving the wrong way on the freeway, passing a motorcade that carried then-Vice President Kamala Harris. 

On Monday, April 28, Wacker was in court for a plea hearing.

He agreed to plead guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct and negligent operation of a vehicle. 

The court sentenced him to a year in the House of Correction but stayed the sentence and placed him on 12 months of probation.
