Oak Creek teacher accused of sexually assaulting high school student
OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An Oak Creek woman is facing charges after allegedly sexually assaulting a student while working as a teacher at an area high school.
Rachel Goodle, 22, is charged with second degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 16, and sexual assault of a student by school staff.
According to a criminal complaint, Goodle was working as a teacher at Oak Creek High School when police were made aware of a possible inappropriate relationship with a student.
The complaint says surveillance footage showed what appeared to be a close relationship between Goodle and the student, spending an "inordinate" amount of time together, and arriving and sitting together at a school sporting event, away from the student section and other people.
The complaint goes on to allege Goodle engaged in sexual intercourse with the student in her classroom.
An initial court appearance is set for Aug. 11.
