Obama to rally for Harris in Milwaukee Sunday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As part of the Democrats' final push before Election Day, former President Barack Obama will headline a rally in Milwaukee Sunday, Nov. 3, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the event.

The time and location of the campaign stop have yet to be announced. However, a sign-up link for supporters states the rally will be at the Baird Center at 11 a.m. It will be Mr. Obama's second appearance in Wisconsin in less than two weeks. He rallied with vice presidential nominee, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, on Oct. 22 in Madison.

The Sunday event will emphasize the final day of in-person absentee voting in Wisconsin. Many municipalities are not offering early voting during the final weekend. However, Milwaukee will offer Sunday voting at five locations across the city.

The presidential candidates themselves have spent much of the home stretch in Wisconsin. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump held dueling rallies in Wisconsin both Wednesday and Friday.

People interested in RSVPing for the event can do so here.
