Officials: 19-year-old charged in fatal stabbing of 16-year-old boy said she had 'anger issues'
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman has been charged in connection to the stabbing death of a 16-year-old boy.
Milwaukee police say the stabbing happened near 43rd and Good Hope on Tuesday, March 7.
According to a criminal complaint, Shayla Moore was present in the apartment when police arrived at the scene. Moore allegedly admitted to stabbing the victim.
Moore was taken outside into a squad car, where investigators say she again had stabbed the victim.
In an interview at the police station, the criminal complaint says Moore explained she and the victim had gotten into an argument because the victim had visitors in the apartment and was not supposed to. The argument, according to the complaint, became physical, she grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim.
Moore was not injured in the incident.
In the complaint, Moore reportedly said she had anger issues.
Moore has been charged with second degree reckless homicide, use of a dangerous weapon.
