A warm but slightly dry June comes to an end as we look ahead...
After a few dry days we are on track for a soaking rain during the middle of this week. Scattered showers and even a few storms are likely for Wednesday and Thursday. Despite a few clouds, most of southeast Wisconsin stays dry on Tuesday but we could have an isolated shower Tuesday night.
Neither Wednesday or Thursday will be washouts but expect scattered showers throughout the day and times of steady rain. The best chance for any storms will be Wednesday afternoon and evening and again on Thursday.
This will be our best rain since the beginning of May with 0.50-1.00" on track for all of southeast Wisconsin and some communities seeing as much as 1.50" depending on how thunderstorms and the steady rain devleop.
Bottom line: grab the umbrella! Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track any rain.
