Strong cold front brings in the coolest air in a month
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Hanging onto summerlike weather one more day. It should be nice as well after the morning fog dissipates. Highs should be in the upper 70s for many. Finally, a day with average numbers. It's been ten days with below average temperatures for highs. Weatherwise, expect a cold front to give us a better chance of showers and storms on Wednesday. Rainfall amounts could be around a half an inch at least. Then another cold front will give us another chance of showers and thunder late Thursday into early Friday. This weather system will reinforce the chilly air coming, beginning late on Wednesday. Highs in the 60s starting on Thursday and lasting through the weekend. The weekend forecast looks quiet as well.

By the way, if you think it's getting darker earlier, you're right. The sunset is before 7:30 PM now. In fact, we lost about an hour and a half of daylight during the month of September. The sunset on the last day of September is 6:35 PM!!
