A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until midnight for all non-lakeside counties.  The worry is freezing drizzle could develop out ahead of a cold front working in from the Upper Midwest overnight and into Sunday.  This could cause a glaze on the roads later this evening.  Please use extreme caution if you're heading out into early Sunday.  The focus will then be scattered snow showers, lingering through much of the afternoon on Sunday.  Stay tuned to CBS 58 on air and online for the very latest information.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--The small amount of snow expected late Saturday night through much of Sunday afternoon, 1/2" to 1 inch, won't really make much of a dent with our snowfall deficit.  It's running 8" for the season and more than 9.5" for the month!  And unfortunately, I see one more opportunity for snow this coming week, and it will be just flurries on Wednesday with another quick-moving weather system.  The weather for New Year's Eve should be fairly quiet although there could be a few slick spots around.  Highs this coming week will be in the 30s and 40s as well.
