One North Shore School Loses Its Leader

A sense of shock and sadness filling the halls at one North Shore school after the principal suddenly dies.
40-year old Mark Harris passed away Thursday evening after reportedly choking earlier in the week. He had been in intensive care for two days.
25 additional counselors are on hand at Shorewood Intermediate to help kids and parents work through their emotions. Harris was the leader here for only two years but his reputation will last much longer according to everyone with spoke with today.
Harris worked as assistant principal at Shorewood High School for a time, and he even played on Marquette's basketball team back in the 90s. The family has set up a fund in his memory through Chase Bank. The link is http://mark.harris.muchloved.com
