MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police have released details about the crash involving a motorcycle that took place on Saturday, Aug. 22.

They report that a 23-year-old driver of a car was driving southbound on 1st St. approaching Pittsburgh Ave. before trying to make a left turn. When doing so, they reportedly hit a 38-year-old motorcyclist who was traveling northbound on 1st.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while the driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with officials.

MPD says an investigation is ongoing.


MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department says one person has been taken to the hospital following an afternoon motorcycle crash in Milwaukee's Walker's Point Neighborhood.

Crews responded to the scene at around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd. 

MFD says it is unclear at this time if any other vehicles were involved, but one person was transported to the hospital for their injuries. 

CBS 58 News has reached out to Milwaukee police for more information on the incident.
