Operator cited after jack-knifed semi blocks four lanes of traffic in Racine County

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 21-year-old semi operator from Texas was cited for driving too fast for conditions after causing traffic to be shut down for several hours on Saturday morning.

The Racine County Communications Center took a call for a jack-knifed semi on I-41 southbound near CTH K in the Village of Raymond.

The semi was blocking all four lanes of traffic when deputies arrived on scene.

Southbound traffic was shut down and traffic was diverted at CTH K for several hours.

The lanes have since reopened.
