Overnight shootings in Milwaukee injure two

Milwaukee police say a 23-year-old man was shot in the leg around 11:45 Thursday night. The incident happened near 40th and Garfield at the rear of a residence. Police say the man suffered non-life threatening injuries and no one is in custody at this time.
Shortly before 1:00 Friday morning, an 18-year-old man was driving in the area of 35th and Locust when he was shot by a person on the sidewalk. The teen is expected to survive and investigators are working to develop a motive. No one is in custody for this shooting.
