Packers clinch playoff spot with blowout win over Saints

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Green Bay Packers did not have to do too much against a banged-up New Orleans Saints team to clinch a playoff spot.

The Packers scored touchdowns on the first three possessions and cruised to a 34-0 win.

Jordan Love only throws for 182 passing yards and one first quarter touchdown to Dontayvion Wicks.

Josh Jacobs ran for 69 yards and a touchdown in the sixth straight game and he now has a career-high 13 for the season.

A couple of firsts as well in the game. Running back Chris Brooks scored his first career touchdown and safety Zayne Anderson pulled in his first interception.

The Packers are now 11-4 and take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17 on Sunday, Dec, 29 at newly scheduled time of 3:25 p.m.
