Pedestrian dead after being struck by vehicle on Milwaukee's north side

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) - The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a crash that left one pedestrian dead at N. Hopkins St and W. Hampton Ave early Wednesday morning.
Officials say the crash happened around 5 a.m.
The 47-year-old pedestrian who was struck suffered from fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash and is cooperating with police regarding the investigation.
