Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle near 11th and Mitchell

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 73-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle near 11th and Mitchell on Monday night, July 27, according to Milwaukee police.
Police say the vehicle was heading west on Historic Mitchell Street around 11:35 p.m. when it collided with the pedestrian, who was in the street. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing.
