Pioneering the search for a cure: Light the Night walk in support of blood cancer research set for Thursday

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — On Thursday night, Sept. 17, lanterns will fill the sky at Henry Maier Festival Park for the annual Light the Night walk, an event that raises money for Blood Cancer United and its work to improve treatment for the disease.
CBS 58 Meteorologist Justin Thompson-Gee will emcee the event.
As CBS 58's Mike Strehlow discovered, the event's funding of research in Wisconsin is making a lifesaving difference in our communities.
