FRANKLIN (CBS 58) -- Batter up!  Another season of Milwaukee Milkmen baseball is ready to start up Tuesday, May 25.

In case you didn't know, the team is an independent professional baseball organization located in Franklin, Wisconsin.

Last year, they even won the American Association of Professional Baseball championship. And while the atmosphere features America's past time on a smaller scale,  it's more than just baseball. During each and every game they spotlight a local non profit to help with awareness and fundraising.

The home opener Tuesday evening pits the Milkmen against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Franklin Field. The game gets underway promptly at 6:35 pm. The address where they play is 7035 S.
