MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police say a 22-year-old Milwaukee man was critically injured in a hit-and-run near 27th and Auer Friday, April 24.

Authorities say the victim was struck by a vehicle while cross the street around 12:17 p.m.  The vehicle fled the scene and was recovered unoccupied. 

The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Milwaukee police are investigating and continue to seek unknown suspects.
