MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An investigation is underway after a 12-year-old died from a gunshot wound near the intersection of 73rd and Fairmount, according to Milwaukee police.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene early Friday, June 13 following a report of gunfire shortly before 1:20 a.m., authorities report. Police say the circumstances leading to the shooting remain unknown.
No arrests have been made, and investigators are seeking one or more suspects.
