Police investigate firearm possession by 14-year-old at Milwaukee school

Milwaukee Police Department MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 14-year-old student was arrested after allegedly bringing a fully automatic firearm to school in Milwaukee, according to police.
MPD says the incident occurred Friday, May 30 at around 8:55 a.m. near the corner of 15th and Hayes. The boy is accused of possessing the weapon on school property. Authorities took him into custody and recovered the firearm.
Officials said the case will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for potential criminal charges.
