MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Lenzy Ward, the 23-year-old suspect of a hit-and-run in Menomonee Falls on Saturday, June 13, is in currently custody at Waukesha County Jail.

Ward was reportedly arrested Wednesday, June 17 at a home in Milwaukee. The Menomonee Falls Police Department says he later admitted to driving the car that left a man with life-threatening injuries when the crash happened.

He is being charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide using a dangerous weapon, as well as a hit and run causing great bodily harm.

In court on Thursday, June 18, a judge set Ward's bond at $750,000.

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities in Menomonee Falls are investigating a hit-and-run that left a man with life-threatening injuries. 

It happened near Saint Thomas Drive and Roosevelt Drive Saturday, June 13. 

According to the Menomonee Falls Police Department, an investigation revealed the man was intentionally struck by a vehicle operated by his adult son after the two were involved in a verbal argument. 

The suspect reportedly fled the area in the vehicle after the incident. He was identified by the Menomonee Falls Police Department Monday night as 23-year-old Lenzy Ward of Milwaukee. 

Police say the vehicle was recovered and felony warrants have been issued on charges of attempted first degree intentional homicide and hit-and-run causing great bodily harm.
