MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the second year in a row, the Professional Bull Riders "Unleash the Beast" competition will bring elite bull riding to Milwaukee.
The Brew City Classic will feature the Top 40 bull riders in the world pitted against some of the toughest bulls in the sport on Saturday, March 11 at 6:45 p.m. and Sunday, March 12 at 1:45 p.m.
Fans can look forward to seeing reigning PBR World Champion Jose Vitor Leme in action, along with other top contenders such as 2021 PBR Rookie of the Year, Eli Vastbinder.
Vastbinder joined us live on Tuesday, March 7 to preview the event. He began his career over a decade ago, registering four 90-point rides at the PBR World Finals in 2021, tying the all-time record. He was also named the PBR Rookie of the Year and finished the 2022 season ranked ninth in the world.
This year’s Brew City Classic will be a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the PBR and will be a crucial stop in the battle for the 2023 PBR World Champion title.
