3rd annual Youth Victory over Violence Week kicks off
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The seventh day of protests are underway in Milwaukee Thursday.
Protesters walked along Center Street on the north side, continuing to ask for equal rights.
Dozens gathered ready to fight for justice another day.
For the most part, protests have been peaceful.
People we've spoken to say they don't want their message to get marred or the intention to get mixed up.
We spoke to Tyqwan Malbrough right before the march kicked off. He said the violence against black people needs to stop.
"It seems like there's no end to it," he said. "No end to it. Like we are going to continuously go through the same thing over and over again. Today everybody came out and you see it's people of all different races, it's time to put an end to this."
Last we spoke with the crowd they said they were heading to Mayfair Mall.
