MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- More problems are coming to light for Menomonee Falls window company, Window Select. As hundreds of unhappy customers wait for unfulfilled orders, many of which are paid or partially paid, CBS 58 is learning more about what's happening behind the scenes.
Window Select owner Justin Kiswardy is currently delinquent on his personal property taxes. According to public records obtained out of Racine County, Kiswardy purchased a 50-acre property in Burlington in May of 2021. The purchase price was more than $2 million. Kiswardy now owes more than $13,000 in back taxes and penalties for the property.
This comes as more developments into Window Select's financial situation are revealed. Last week, CBS 58 confirmed the company had been served eviction papers for its distribution warehouse. Since then, another lawsuit has been filed against the company and Kiswardy.
This time, from a staffing company in Waukesha County. Court documents show Window Select failed to pay the employment company for recruitment, placement, and services rendered and is being sued for more than $5,700.
Customers continue to complain about orders they say they're still waiting for. Others have started the process of trying to cancel and get their money back.
Window Select and Kiswardy have not returned multiple requests for an interview with CBS 58.
