Racine & Me: Gallery Game Night at Racine Art Museum

Racine & Me: Gallery Game Night at Racine Art Museum

RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Racine Art Museum (RAM) is offering a new series of free, after-hour experiences at both RAM and its second campus, RAM’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts. Kicking off at RAM in downtown Racine on Thursday, May 29, RAM Unlocked: Gallery Game Night invites you to explore the museum’s exhibitions, enjoy a signature cocktail and mocktail from the cash bar, and play games and connect with fellow locals.

RAM Unlocked is designed for attendees ages 21+. RAM is partnering with What’s Up Racine—a local initiative that highlights the unique character of Racine as a cultural destination, foodie destination, and scenic getaway—for the inaugural event in the series.

The “Gallery Game Night” theme is inspired by the current exhibition Fool Me Once: The Trompe L’oeil Sculpture of Karen Dahl and James Doran. While you are at the museum, check out the board game-inspired pieces on display that were created to fool the eye—you will be surprised by what you read on the labels!

This event also coincides with Downtown Racine’s first HayMarket of the season, a fresh take on their summer market series on Monument Square. · Advance registration—available on RAM’s website—is encouraged but not required.
