RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Groov’n in the Garden is an annual outdoor concert hosted at RAM’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts (Wustum). A collaboration between Mahogany Gallery and Racine Art Museum that began in 2023, this event offers an evening of soulful melodies, infectious beats, and a vibrant atmosphere.
Attendees can begin securing their spots in Wustum’s verdant gardens with their own lawn chairs or picnic blankets at 5:00 pm, where a local DJ will spin a mix of groovy beats to set the scene. The VersaTile band takes the stage at 6 p.m, unleashing an infusion of rhythm and blues, neo-soul, and a dose of funk throughout two sets.
To compliment the musical experience, attendees will be able to purchase mouthwatering bites from Ed’s Taste of Soul food truck, enjoy a selection of finely crafted beer from Chicago’s Moor’s Brewing Company, or imbibe two specialty cocktails by Tito’s Handmade Vodka. · Tickets are available to purchase online for $35 on the Mahogany Gallery website. A limited number of tickets will be available at Wustum.
